The fire escape hood Parat 5500 is designed to let you breath safely for a minimum of 15 minutes by filtering out toxic gases, particles and fumes, filtering out even the feared, odourless “carbon monoxide”. The hood Parat 5500 can easily be worn over the head, ensuring eye and airway protection, guaranteeing a fast and secure escape even in smoke filled areas. It is also suitable for non-specialist personnel and for individuals wearing glasses. The Parat 5500 hood is in high resistance, high visible, self-extinguishing and flame resistant fabric (for temperatures greater than 1000°C). The mounted CO P2 filter provides protection against gases that develop in the presence of a fire (chlorine, hydrochloric acid, nitrogen monoxide, sulphur dioxide).
